POLL: ADMIN FEE PAYMENT SCHEDULE PREFERENCE
We are working on integrating the Admin Fee payments into the Moodle system. We would like to know what length(s) of time work best for you so we can better provide these options for you. If you are exempt from the Admin Fee (check your profile), this poll does not apply to you; but you are free to respond if you like, providing answers/preferences as if you were financially able to pay the fee.
The integration is expected to use PayPal for payments, just as before; and each fee schedule option [e.g. 1 month, 3 months, etc.] would be paid all at once, unless PayPal provides you with another option such as "Pay Later" or "Pay In 4". These other payment timings are not something we can control, but are dependent on what your PayPal account is eligible for.
We also expect the integration to work as follows: upon payment of the chosen timeframe (1 month for example), student will be granted access to their courses for the length of time chosen during payment. When that time expires, access to the courses will be temporarily suspended until another fee payment is made. (Note, this does not mean your coursework is removed or deleted. Your coursework and grades will still be there, just the access to them will be on hold.) Fee waivers will still be available.
The primary purpose of integrating the fee in this way is to make it easier for all involved to track, and keep up with, the fee so that no student is caught/stuck being far behind on fees at graduation time. (Being behind on admin fees will prevent graduation, even if sufficient coursework is completed.)
